Bay View Rolling Mill : The Reason We Exist
Description:
Photograph of aerial view of Bay View Rolling Mill site and Jones Island.

What's the story?:
The Rolling Mill paved the way for other Milwaukee industries such as Allis-Chalmers, Nordberg, and Harnischfeger. It also helped to give Milwaukee the reputation of being the "machine shop of the world." Finally, it gave us the vibrant community of Bay View. In short, it is the reason we exist.
